Mark Coeckelbergh

AI Ethics Global Lead
Mark is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Vienna. He is Associate Editor of the journal AI & Society and member of many editorial advisory boards. He is also active in policy advice, e.g. as member of the EU High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Birmingham. Mark is the author of numerous journal articles and 14 books, including “AI Ethics” and "Introduction to Philosophy of Technology".

Mauritz Kop

General Counsel
Mauritz is a Stanford Law School TTLF Fellow and Visiting Quantum & Law Scholar at Stanford University, Founder of MusicaJuridica and strategic intellectual property lawyer at AIRecht, a technology consultancy firm based in Amsterdam. His academic work on regulating AI, machine learning training data and quantum technology has been published by Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Berkeley, and others. Mauritz studied IP, contract law, and law & biosciences at Stanford Law School, VU University, and Maastricht University.

Sandra Dernbach

Strategic Design
Sandra is an expert in experience research and strategy. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Creative Direction and Strategic Design. Her work blends cognitive science, psychology, philosophy, and sociology expertise to explore human behavior and heuristics. This holistic thinking informs the development of ethical, accessible, and innovative products that provide users with meaningful experiences.

Jona Boeddinghaus

Strategy Lead / CEO
Jona is co-founder and Managing Director of Daiki and Gradient Zero. Jona earned degrees in Philosophy, Computer Science, and Cognitive Science from the University of Freiburg. He is an expert in software development and AI Ethics. After several years in industry he founded his own venture craut interactive which he sold in 2014. Before Daiki Jona held several senior management roles in machine learning companies.

Artur Susdorf

Chief Tech Officer
Artur is co-founder and CTO of Daiki and Gradient Zero. He earned degrees in Computer Science with focus in Graphics and Image Processing Systems. After several years in industry he founded an independent game developer studio which he sold 2012. Before Daiki and Gradient Zero Artur was working as a freelancer for several companies in Germany and Switzerland.

Wolfgang Groß

Chief AI Officer
Wolfgang is co-founder and Chief AI Officer of Daiki and Gradient Zero. He earned degrees in Computer Science and Cognitive Science with a focus on Machine Learning and Neural Networks. In the past few years in industry he developed state of the art Machine Learning algorithms with a focus on multivariate time series forecast, which has been applied in the finance sector with great success.

Kevin Gibney

Chief Sales Officer
Kevin is CSO of Daiki and Gradient Zero. He is an international marketing and sales professional with a focus on high tech startup strategies, implementation of market launches, and beyond. Kevin holds a BA from New York University & MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University

Julia Harrison

Marketing & Communications Manager
Julia Harrison is the Marketing & Communications Manager of Daiki and Gradient Zero. She holds a Master of Science degree in Marketing from Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Before her studies in Vienna, she worked in B2B marketing roles across several industries in the US.
