Bio:
Eline de Jong has a background in philosophy, communication science, journalism, and applied ethics. Her research focuses on the societal impact of new and emerging technologies, and responsible research and innovation.

Eline is a PhD candidate in Philosophy and Ethics of Quantum-Safe Cryptography (QSC) at the University of Amsterdam, affiliated with the Institute of Physics and the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation.

Previously, Eline worked at the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR). She was a member of the research group that wrote a policy advisory report for the Dutch government and parliament about the societal impact of Artificial Intelligence.

Bio:
Katharina Koerner is a multifaceted professional with a PhD in Law from Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, and an extensive expertise in information security, privacy-enhancing technologies, and responsible AI.

She served in the Austrian public service for 10 years, and as CEO of an international institute education group for 5 years, founding new institutes internationally.

Now based in Silicon Valley, she is a respected researcher, thought leader, and speaker on tech policy, privacy, security, AI regulation, and operationalization of trustworthy AI.

Bio:
Paul Marrow holds an MA from Oxford, a DPhil from York, and he carried out postdoctoral research at Leiden and Cambridge. This background gave him the skills to carry out industrial R&D in complex telecoms and computing systems.

He has designed, participated in, and led national and international projects to successful conclusions. Paul Marrow is an inventor and the author of many publications.

Today he utilises this expertise as an IT consultant focusing on data analytics and artificial intelligence. Dr Marrow is a Professional Member of the Association for Computing Machinery and a Chartered Information Technology Professional.

Bio:

Dr. Ranck has over 30 years of experience working in the global health arena and has his worked has spanned human rights to health technology.

His education includes a Doctorate in Public Health (University of California, Berkeley), an MA in International Relations and Economics (Johns Hopkins University, SAIS), and a BA in Biology (Ithaca College).

Author of two books on digital health, he is a globally recognized thought leader on digital health and is currently working on a book on Responsible AI in Healthcare.

He is currently organizing the Summit for Responsible AI in Healthcare to be held in 2024.

Joshua Walker

Bio:
Joshua Walker is the author of “On Legal AI” (Fastcase / Full Court Press, summer 2019).  With over 20 years of experience in this and allied fields, as well as over 15 as an IP attorney, he is seeking to deploy the next next generation of advanced legal solutions.

Walker is also a co-founder of CodeX, as well as Lex Machina.  For the latter, he led the successful spin off from Stanford Law School, serving as founding CEO and Chief Legal Architect.  He received his A.B. from Harvard College and his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

Bio:
Constanze Albrecht studied psychology and engineering at the Ludwig Maximilian University and the Technical University of Munich, respectively. In parallel to her studies, she has served as a Junior Consultant to the Digital Asia Hub Thailand, where she helped incubate the AI Governance Clinic, and was a research associate at the TUM Professorship for Public Policy, Governance, and Innovative Technologies.

Her interests and research focus on the intersection of novel technologies and society issues, and include issues such as the normative implications of neurotechnology, quantum-based technologies, as well the reliable use of AI in healthcare.

Now doing her Masters at the ETH Zurich University in the field of Neuroinformatics and
organizing a research stay at the Fluid Interfaces group of the MIT Media Lab in 2024, she is gaining first-hand research experience on frontier issues in neurotechnology, human computer interaction and AI.
